Development Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks:
- Mechanical design and assembly of components
- creation of production drawings
- Commissioning of the communication between control, measurement technology and drive systems (EtherCAT)
- Carrying out characterization measurements of the MXsteerHiL components and steering systems
- Construction of simulation chains:
- Commissioning of the vehicle models on real-time systems such as ASM on Scalexio, Carmaker on Xpack4, or similar
- Transfer of target and actual control values to the vehicle model
- Commissioning of the remaining bus simulations for steering systems
- Project management
- Organization of production parts and purchased parts
Internal organization of assembly of power electronics and test bench hardware
Your profile:
- University degree or comparable training in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering, electrical engineering, or similar.
- Knowledge of real-time systems such as Scalexio or Xpack4 would be an advantage
- Experience with common MS Office programs, CAD software Creo or SolidWorks is desirable
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English and German
- Dedication, sense of responsibility, team spirit
- Independent, conscientious, performance-oriented work
