The partnership offers a wide range of opportunities. The collaboration will offer the institute access to a broader industry network. For MdynamiX, IMM’s expertise in the field of transportation design is important. In addition, the bond with the university students is intensified. The students benefit from this as they can gain practical experience. Both partners have the opportunity to work together on new technologies, mke use of synergy effects and accelerate the implementation of research results in practice.
Peter Pfeffer, CEO of MdynamiX, commented on the cooperation: “We are pleased to have IMM as a competent scientific partner for the successful implementation of projects in the areas of ADAS, vehicle dynamics and NVH. We are confident that this collaboration will lead to promising results.”
The joint research projects include: the “Brakes Hardware-in-the-Loop Test Bench” project for the model-based development of braking systems for electric vehicles and automated vehicles, as well as the “Steer-by-Wire with Magnetorheological Feedback Actuator” project. The projects have already started and will push the boundaries of current technologies.
MdynamiX’s expertise in these key areas will be brought to the projects through the involvement of university professors Dr. Stefan Sentpali and Dr. Peter Pfeffer – two of the four founders of MdynamiX. The dedicated teams at MdynamiX and IMM aim to achieve insightful results with these projects.
The interdisciplinary research institute IMM promotes the holistic approach of harmonizing technology, design and human aspects for user-friendly mobility solutions. The human factor services offered by MdynamiX also offer innovative research approaches.
