Indian-German Test Center: Exciting new collaboration between ATS and MdynamiX

India is one of the fastest growing markets in the world and for MdynamiX the ideal location for a new test centre. With our long-standing valued partner Automotive Test Systems (ATS) from Pune, we are taking the logical next step in our co-operation and we are pleased to announce an intensified collaboration. Together we will open the MdynamiX Indian Centre in Pune, India, in February next year. The aim of this centre is to better serve our Indian customers and showcase our state-of-the-art testing systems – MXsteerHiL and MXbrakeHiL – along with our innovative software solutions MXeval and MXoptiCal.

The Testing Lab in Pune will expand the capacities of the MdynamiX labs in Munich and Memmingen. ATS will play a key role in the installation of several hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) systems, including MXsteerHiL and MXbrakeHiL. Experienced in setting up numerous test centres, ATS supports the automotive industry with laboratory testing and test track evaluation.

This partnership provides ATS with the opportunity to advance research in vehicle dynamics and ADAS, including on-road data collection, scenario creation and testing in SiL, MiL, HiL and ViL environments. This collaboration expands their technical services and consulting capabilities in the areas of vehicle dynamics and ADAS, paving the way for safer and more innovative mobility solutions in India.

We are confident that our test systems and development solutions will be successful in India, supported by the additional technical services provided by ATS. These services include steering and braking system testing, calibration, functional tuning, reliability and much more.

The following MX test systems will be on display at the Indian MdynamiX centre in Pune:

– MXsteerHiL: Our steering-in-the-loop solution provides a highly realistic steering experience for vehicle dynamics and automated driving.

– MXbrakeHiL: A robust real-time test bench for brake system development and automated driving that offers compatibility and flexible use for a unique braking experience.

– MXeval: Benchmarking, evaluation and targeting software that evaluates, analyses and accelerates decision-making in road tests and simulations for the function-based development of vehicle dynamics and automated driving.

– MXoptiCal: The optical measurement tool guarantees accurate and consistent vehicle measurements with reliable processes in just a few steps.
