A warm welcome to our newest family member

We are pleased to announce the introduction of a new member to the MX software family: the MXoptiCal – an optical measurement tool.
High accurate photogrammetry of measuring objects can be done easily. Capturing the position of the IMU or any other POIs in the vehicle coordinate system has never been faster.

However, our existing tools have also undergone significant further development. The incorporation of new, innovative functions will significantly enhance your productivity. We encourage you to experience this for yourself.

Robust and flexible hardware

In addition to software, MXoptiCal includes a robust set of hardware. This includes a cross line laser and a calibrated smartphone to capture images for the evaluation process.
The hardware is compatible with the majority of IMU systems.

Custom components are also available. This means that your individual requirements can be met in the best possible way.

Efficient and easy-to-use software

The newly developed photogrammetry evaluation process comes with a user-friendly UI that allows for straightforward  evaluation, without any additional tasks in between.

Library updates

Our evaluation libraries have been revised and standardized for a clear configuration across all evaluation libraries. We have also improved the stability and performance of each evaluation process to ensure robust results.

UI enhancements

As the MXevalApp has become a powerful tool with plenty of functions, this update provides enhancements to the user interface to make the MXevalApp more intuitive and easy-to-use.

External GNSS WiFi sensor

The new GNSS WiFi sensor can stream GNSS positioning data through the MXevalApp’s built-in functionality directly into the evaluation using WiFi. It comes with a high accuracy dual frequency GNSS and an update rate of 10Hz. This improves accuracy and reliability of the positioning data, especially when using the Co-Pilot function.

Catalog Library Manager

The new Catalog Library Manager feature enables to store catalogs from existing configs directly inside the MXevalApp Manager’s configuration. This is especially useful when using certain catalogs over and over again, or when creating structured catalog libraries that can be shared with other users.
