Calculation Engineer (m/f/d)
As a calculation engineer (m/f/d) in the field of structural dynamics and NVH, you will join our team in Munich and analyse and optimise the vibration and acoustic behaviour of components and systems using FEM simulations and measurement data analysis. The aim is to minimise vibration and noise, identify weak points and develop comfortable and durable solutions. In close cooperation with customers, partners and internal teams, you will develop innovative calculation methods for specific and research-related requirements.
Your tasks
- Independent planning and execution of FEM simulations in the field of structural dynamics and NVH
- Development and optimisation of calculation methods for the simulation of the vibration behaviour of flexible components
- Analysis and interpretation of simulation results
- Document results, communicate with customers and external partners
- Evaluate, analyse and document measurement data
- Develop and implement project and research related solutions
Your profile
- Successfully completed studies in the field of STEM with a focus on finite element simulation or comparable education
- Excellent theoretical and applied knowledge of structural mechanics and related numerical methods, e.g. finite element method (FEM)
- Professional experience in structural mechanics or dynamics
- Knowledge of FEM tools and relevant simulation software tools, ideally in NASTRAN and ANSYS
- Independent and structured working style, analytical thinking and reliability
- Interest in learning new areas on your own responsibility
- High level of accuracy, excellent abstraction and modelling skills
- High sense of responsibility, team spirit and motivation
