10 years of MdynamiX AG: A journey of innovation and passion

Exactly ten years ago, enthusiastic experts joined forces with the aim of translating research results into innovative development tools more quickly and transferring them to the processes of the automotive industry using novel methods. This team of four professors, Peter Pfeffer, Bernhard Schick, Markus Krug and Stefan Sentpali, founded MdynamiX in 2014 – a company dedicated to innovation in vehicle development.

Their goal became a corporate goal: over the years, MdynamiX has grown into an internationally connected company – from an initial four employees, it now has over 40. They work in the fields of vehicle dynamics, steering, automated driving, acoustics as well as for our academy. We recently opened our new headquarters in Benningen and created a place where ideas flow and innovations emerge.

Our mission at MdynamiX is clear: we wanted to put people at the centre and create an attractive driving experience. At the same time, we wanted to make development more effective and efficient, in particular by combining road testing and simulation throughout.

And today? Today, we are intensively involved in shaping future mobility. We are deeply rooted in the development of international customers. Our modular test bench system and our evaluation and assessment software help our customers to become more effective and efficient. Through targeted training, we prepare engineers for the challenges of tomorrow. At its core, it is always about inspiring people for the mobility of tomorrow.

On 26 April, we celebrated our anniversary with the whole team, long-standing partners and friends of MdynamiX AG.

Our heartfelt thanks go to all the well-wishers who have accompanied us on our remarkable journey. Special thanks go to Dr Thomas Kersten from Volkswagen do Brasil, who personally conveyed his congratulations. We would also like to thank Wu Zhiguo from Polelink – our sales partner in China – and Sang Min Park from Hyundai Motor Company – an important partner in this project – for sharing their video messages. Their encouragement and support has had a lasting impact on our journey.

Honouring our pioneers: We have also honoured our long-standing employees. Two remarkable personalities have been with us from the very beginning and have shaped MdynamiX over the last decade. Congratulations to Cornelia Joos and Dr Jinhuai Meiswinkel-Lin! In addition to the employees, the board members from the very beginning were also honoured. Thanks to Prof Dr Peter Wolfsteiner, Prof Dr Clemens Klippel and Prof Dr Andreas Gubner. The MdynamiX founders – Prof Bernhard Schick, Prof Dr Peter Pfeffer, Prof Dr Markus Krug and Prof Dr Stefan Sentpali – were also surprised.

We would also like to thank the bagpipe group Highroad Pipes & Drums for the musical accompaniment and the artist Karin Schliehe for her active support with the surprise gift, a drawing of the four founders.

And last but not least, we owe our current position to the entire team. A big thank you to every single person who has brought the company to where it is today. As we celebrate this significant milestone, we look forward to the future. Together we will continue to push boundaries, develop innovative solutions and drive innovation. Here’s to the next ten years of excellence!
