Services:
The scope of services includes the conference documents, drinks, coffee and snacks, lunch and the evening event.

The conference documents will be handed out to the participants at the venue.

Terms of payment

The participation fees are payable in full 14 days after receipt of the invoice. You are not entitled to offset, reduce or assert a right of retention unless your claims have been legally established or are undisputed.

Cancellation by the VDI BV Munich

If an event is canceled due to illness of the speaker, force majeure or other circumstances for which VDI BV München is not responsible, there is no entitlement to the event being held. In such cases, VDI BV München reserves the right to rebook participants for a corresponding online event that is equivalent in quality and knowledge transfer to the face-to-face event instead of canceling the event. When rebooking a meeting or conference to an online event, participants will receive an appropriate price reduction, which takes into account in particular the lack of opportunity to participate in the supporting program on site for personal exchange and to expand their professional network.

The above provisions do not constitute grounds for withdrawal by participants. They also apply if VDI BV München has already confirmed that an event will be held because the minimum number of participants has been reached.

VDI BV München reserves the right to cancel the event up to 14 days before the start of the event if the number of participants is too low.

If VDI BV München cancels the event, it is only obliged to refund the participation fees already paid. A claim for compensation for travel and accommodation costs as well as loss of working hours is excluded, unless such costs are incurred due to grossly negligent or intentional behavior on the part of VDI BV München.

The VDI Bezirksverein, Ober- und Niederbayern e.V. (hereinafter referred to as VDI BV München) only addresses its members, volunteers, interested parties and partners – in particular by electronic means – if this is done in the context of fulfilling its statutory purposes, the persons concerned are interested in this information in the opinion of VDI BV München and there is no objection on their part to being addressed. The VDI BV München draws attention to this right of objection each time it is contacted. In the interests of data minimization, only the data necessary for communication and data processing for the intended purpose of the German Material Flow Congress will be collected and processed.
