Never before has capturing the IMU position or other POIs in the vehicle coordinate system been as easy and time-efficient as with the MXoptiCal. Our optical measuring tool uses photogrammetry to provide highly accurate and reproducible measurement results. These results serve as a reliable basis for subsequent metrological analyses in vehicle testing – from prototypes to production vehicles – during both development and research.
Coded reference marker on the object are captured and then recorded photographically in terms of their coordinates and orientation within the space, then evaluated with the aid of software. Continuous troubleshooting ensures long-term process reliability. The final measurement protocols form a comprehensive documentation and guarantee a high level of traceability.
