Identify strengths, improve weaknesses, and integrate innovations directly.
Benchmarking for Vehicle Development: Your Models in Comparison
- Competitive Analysis: What strengths and weaknesses do your products have compared to the competition?
- Improvement: Which proven practical solutions and new impulses can you integrate into your development process?
- Differentiation: How can you position your brand more strongly to stand out from the competition?
Benchmarking is transforming the way manufacturers develop vehicles. By comparing their products with competitors, best practices and innovative trends can be identified and integrated into their own development processes. To make well-founded statements about market position and competitiveness, an objective evaluation by qualified test participants and a structured methodological approach are essential.
Real Conditions, Real Users: Our Approach to Benchmarking Studies
Driving tests, simulations, and measurements: We evaluate driving behavior and performance under real-world conditions.
We plan and conduct studies worldwide in the context of different cultural requirements.
Targeted benchmarking studies with real users: This complements the developers’ perspective and enables a holistic assessment. The needs of actual users remain in focus at all times.
Case Study: Customer Evaluation of Driver Assistance Systems with VW do Brasil
In collaboration with Volkswagen Brazil, we conducted a benchmarking study in São Paulo to assess Brazilian customers’ evaluation of lane keeping assist and ACC functions (including HMI). The assessment was based on a KPI-driven methodology tailored to the requirements of the South American market.
